Build WordPress properly, with people who care about it

We are a small engineering team in Bangalore working on WordPress for clients around the world, and contributing back to the project itself.

Why here

Four things you can verify before applying

Contributing is part of the job

We pledge ten hours a week to WordPress through Five for the Future. That time is worked, not donated out of your evenings.

See the pledge

You will write real code

Custom post types, meta, integrations, reviewed and versioned. Not an afternoon of dragging widgets around a page builder.

You talk to the client

We put the engineer doing the work on the call. That is the promise we make to clients, which means it is how we work internally too.

The community meets here

We host Bengaluru WordPress meetups at our office. You will meet the wider WordPress world without leaving the building.

Hiring

How it goes, start to finish

  1. 1

    You send something real

A CV is fine, but a repository, a plugin or a site you built tells us more in two minutes than a CV does in ten.

  2. 2

    A conversation, not a quiz

Half an hour with an engineer about what you have built and what you want to build next.

  3. 3

    A small paid exercise

Scoped to a few hours and paid for, because unpaid take-home tests filter for free time rather than ability.

  4. 4

    An answer either way

Within a week, with a reason. Silence after an interview is a small cruelty and we do not do it.

Start here

Send us something you have built

A repository, a plugin, a site. Tell us what was hard about it and what you would do differently now.

  • A free audit first

We'll look at your site and tell you straight what needs doing.

  • Fixed scope, fixed price

Agreed in writing before any work starts. No hidden fees.

  • A real engineer on the call

You talk to the people who do the work, not a sales script.
